This was the second time in recent months we had held a reunion in the Clock Hotel, Hebburn and like the previous time it went down a storm.

The usual crowd were there ie the ' 62 girls, Val, Elaine (Robson) Jean, Doreen, Elaine (Garvey) and myself Brenda Joyce.  Marion Benstead (yr 62) who lives most of the year in Spain managed to get to this reunion and thoroughly enjoyed herself meeting up with everyone again.  Jean Catternach (yr 62) came along, this was her second visit to the North East in six months - (she lives in Sydney, Australia) and had everyone enthralled with her stories of life 'down under' and the virtues of champagne!!!!!!!!!! no need for explanations there.

At first it looked like it was going to be an all girl show as Doreen Forster (yr 64) and Marjorie Hills (yr 63) joined the group but then Alan Brown (yr 64) arrived to the cheers of everyone. He soon had the place taken with his anecdotes and memories of dare I say 'escapades'  at Jarrow Central. Much to Alan's relief  (I mean who would want to spend a night with ten women?) we were joined by David Oxberry (yr 62), Steve Lawrence (yr 62) and of course Lance.  One thing we weren't short of was things to talk about even the outcome of the Michael Jackson trial got a mention and if the pub hadn't turned the music to full blast - I think was their way of saying it's time to go home we would have sat there longer.

So all of you from JCS who would like to come along but feel a bit aprehensive don't be shy watch the notice board for the next reunion,  Dates and time to be arranged
